About Us
Trillion Cells, LLC was founded in 2024 by Proteus Zolia, a scientist, engineer, and inventor of the world's first pregnancy test of its kind, designed to get “pregnant” if the person being tested is pregnant. With four emerging divisions in the fields of HealthTech, BioTech, EdTech & Commerce, the company is on a journey to create innovative solutions for application in multiple industries.
The name Trillion Cells was inspired from this unconventional yet profound realization: that the trillions of cells in the human body have contributed significantly to all the breakthroughs mankind has benefited from since the dawn of civilization. From invention of the light bulb to discovery of DNA, the internet, and artificial intelligence; these breakthroughs have all been made possible by the collective contributions of every one of the trillions of human cells.
Without the red blood cells for instance, oxygen could not have reached the brain cells of inventors like Thomas Mensah to brainstorm his way to an improved fiber optic technology, augmenting digital connectivity and the internet. Likewise, without the muscle cells, Michael Jackson could not have generated the iterations of dance moves and vocal magics to produce Thriller, the # 1 best-selling album in human history.
At Trillion Cells LLC, our teams are dedicated to emulating the intricate work ethic displayed by these remarkable cells to create innovative life-changing solutions.

Building New Companies
At Trillion Cells, we believe that building world-changing companies requires a thoughtful, phased approach. Before any of our subsidiaries become self-governing entities, they pass through three intentional stages of growth, what we call the DBA of Business Development. This process mirrors how humans develop.
Division Stage
In this stage, we identify a critical need within emerging markets and begin forming a specialized division within Trillion Cells. Here, we focus on market research, strategy design, resource allocation, and early concept testing. It’s where the DNA of the future company, its vision, mission, and initial leadership, is carefully established.
Baby Stage
Once the division shows promise, it evolves into a ‘baby’ company. In this phase, the startup begins operations, and tests its product or service in real-world conditions. However, it still relies heavily on the infrastructure, mentorship, and strategic oversight of Trillion Cells. Just like a newborn, it needs close care, feeding, and protection to survive early market challenges and refine its identity.
Adult Stage
Finally, when the company demonstrates strong internal leadership, financial sustainability, and clear market fit, it enters the adult stage. Now, it becomes a fully independent subsidiary. Though it continues to align with the broader vision of Trillion Cells, it operates with autonomy, drives its own growth, and contributes back to the larger ecosystem.
This approach allows us to incubate and accelerate high-impact businesses with a strong foundation, clear identity, and the agility to scale. By moving through this structured development model, each Trillion Cells venture is better equipped to transform lives, reshape industries, and set new standards globally.
